Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Crete United and its subsidiaries (“Crete United,” “we,” “us”) collect, use and disclose personal information through creteunited.com (the “Site”) and when you contact us. It does not cover websites run by our local operating companies, which have their own notices, or third-party sites we link to.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our Contact form, email or call us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the services you are interested in, and anything you write in your message. If you apply for a job, we collect the information in your application, such as your work history and contact details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our local operating companies collect:
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers and language settings
- Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, the page that referred you, and the date, time and length of your visit
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Cookie and pixel identifiers, including identifiers our advertising partners match with their own records
See our Cookie Policy for the specific tools we use.
Information from third parties
We receive business contact and company data from data providers such as ZoomInfo. This may include the company associated with your IP address, your job title, and business interests inferred from browsing activity.
2. How we use information

3. How we disclose information
- Operating companies and affiliates in the Crete United network, to answer your inquiry or deliver services in your area
- Service providers that act on our behalf, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email delivery (SendGrid), analytics (Google Analytics) and recruiting platforms
- Advertising and data partners, such as ZoomInfo (including Clickagy) and The Trade Desk and the ad exchanges it works with, which use cookies and pixels on the Site to identify visiting companies, build audiences and show ads

- Business transfers, to a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets
We may share de-identified or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you for any purpose.
4. Sale and sharing for targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. However, letting advertising and data partners collect identifiers, browsing activity and inferences through cookies on our Site may be considered a “sale” of personal information, “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state privacy laws. In the past 12 months we have disclosed these categories this way:
| Category | Recipients |
|---|---|
| Identifiers (IP address, cookie and device IDs) | Advertising partners, data providers |
| Internet or network activity (pages viewed, referrer) | Advertising partners, data providers, analytics providers |
| Approximate geolocation | Advertising partners, data providers |
| Inferences (business interests) | Data providers |
You can opt out at any time; see Section 6. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Contact form inquiries are kept for up to 3 years after our last interaction. Job application data is kept as required by employment law. Analytics data in Google Analytics is kept for 13 months. Cookie lifespans are listed in the Cookie Policy.
6. Your privacy rights and choices
Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising
Click Your Privacy Choices in the Site footer or turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out for that browser.
